A Feast of Sight and Sound
Laguna Beach Live! presents mandolinist Evan Marshall in a free chamber music concert on Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Laguna Art Museum.
Country guitar legend Chet Atkins called Evan “One of the few great musicians of our time.”
Live! at the Museum takes place the second Thursday of each month from 7-8 p.m. and is free to museum members and to non-members with museum admission. Silk Painting Registration Opens
Registration is now open for the art class Painting On Silk Canvas with Olivia Batchelder, to be held Mondays, Dec. 10 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $30 for both sessions. Classes are intended for seniors, 55 and up.
Students will, among other things, detail artwork onto white silk and embellish with mixed dye colors in a watercolor fashion.
Students should bring several objects from nature to inspire their work.
