La Playa Center Opens

Pictured below are, the English-as-a-Second-Language school with free childcare at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach.

Coinciding with the school year, the La Playa Center has also resumed classes, offering three levels of English as a second language instruction, from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

Besides ESL instruction, La Playa volunteers teach a pronunciation class and distribute free surplus food distribution out of the Resource Center. La Playa works in collaboration with the Even Start preschool, also housed mornings in the Boys & Girls Club.
