Montage Lights up the Holiday Season
The Montage holiday tree lighting ceremony and community open house will be celebrated with holiday carolers, hot cocoa, children’s activities and live music followed by the tree lighting on Nov. 28 beginning at 5 p.m.
Ritz Carlton Collects the Spirit of Giving
The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel will be collecting canned goods, non-perishable food items, toys, books and stuffed animals to be donated to local Orange County charities.
Any guest who donates any of these items will receive an anniversary card that provides 15% off guest services.
The effort begins Saturday, Nov. 19 with the second annual Surfing Santa Contest and fourth annual Surfboard Auction, as well as the holiday tree lighting on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m.
Santa Sets up at Fashion Island
Fashion Island’s holiday festivities include a musical performance and tree lighting in the Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard on Nov. 18-19 at 6 p.m. both evenings.
Afterwards, young visitors can meet with Santa to share holiday wishes and take photos at his house on Atrium Lawn through Dec. 24.
Go for a Spin at the Spectrum
An outdoor holiday ice rink returns to Irvine Spectrum Center through Feb. 20.
Skate sessions are 75 minutes and prices are $12 for adults and children Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays, and $14 Friday through Sunday and on holidays. Skate rentals are $2. Helmets are optional and provided free of charge.
