Recently three Laguna Beach locals found themselves on the same Crystal Cruise ship to the Mediterranean.
Azmin Ghahreman, owner-chef of Sapphire Laguna restaurant, worked as the cruise’s guest chef.
Cruise guests Don and Tomie Mason, who describe Sapphire as one of their favorite restaurants, were delighted to meet Chef Azmin at sea and pleased to enjoy his culinary treats with wine pairings en route.
Ghahreman, whose menu in Laguna samples global cuisine, prepared Mediterranean style menus during the cruise.
