Nuclear Regulators Discuss San Onofre

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission holds a public meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 9 to discuss the status of its oversight of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station and respond to questions about current plant issues.

The meeting will be held between 6 and 9:30 p.m. at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Hotel, in Dana Point. There is a nominal parking fee.

The meeting will include a roundtable discussion and question and answer session.  Representatives for the roundtable are chosen by the NRC in consultation with local interest groups. Members have not been chosen yet.

The NRC is making arrangements to webcast the meeting.
