Patricia Garza-Pinto, a certified personal trainer and holistic lifestyle coach from Laguna Beach, recently completed level-three training with San Diego’s Paul Chek, a holistic health practitioner and neuromuscular therapist. The program combines study of the relationship between food and lifestyle and tools for coaches to improve their client’s health and overall wellness.
Garza-Pinto obtained certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and American Council on Exercise. She worked at Irvine Valley College as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the women’s soccer and tennis teams and as a personal trainer to disabled students at the campus.
She said adopting Chek’s philosophy improved her own strength and well-being. “At 54 years old I am able to deadlift my body weight while experiencing more power and vibrancy than at 34 years of age,” said Garza-Pinto, who can be contacted at (949) 422-1168 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
