American Legion Conducts Patriot Day Ceremony

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Laguna Beach American Legion will conduct a Patriot Day ceremony to honor all patriots, the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attack, and to demonstrate support of the U.S. Armed Forces, police and firefighters for the sacrifices they make and to demonstrate resolve to defeat terrorism.

The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the lawn of Legion Hall, 384 Legion St., including a musical prelude preceding the 11 a.m. address by Third District County Supervisor-Elect Todd Spitzer.  The public is invited to come early, as seating is limited.
