Three Arch Bay resident Nancee Wells spotted an osprey on the north end of the Salt Creek Beach bluff with its recognizable catch, a state-protected garibaldi. The bird known as a “fish hawk” hunts by diving into the water or plucking its prey from the surface with its talons.
