In the Footsteps of the Masters
The Laguna College of Art and Design opens its exhibition “LCAD In Holland and France,” which showcases artworks by students and faculty Jan. 4 through 18. A reception is planned for Friday, Jan 18 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Located at 2222 Laguna Canyon Road, exhibition hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
Each work of art was created in response to the artist’s experience living in abroad as a part of the college’s European Sumer Study Program.
George Reaches for a New Exhibit
The George Gallery, 354 N. Coast Highway, presents “Gravity’s Elbow,” an exhibit running from Thursday, Jan. 3 through Feb. 28.
The show features New York-based artists Theresa Hackett and Jill Levine.
Nature Collection Set To Show
An upcoming art show featuring Stephanie Paige is set to open Thursday, Jan. 3 at the Sandstone Gallery, 384-A N. Coast Highway. Paige’s “Inspired by Nature Collection” will be on display until Feb. 4.
