Extended Hours for Whaling Wall Exhibit
During the final week of Wolfbat Shamans and the Whale of Gratitude exhibit, AR4T Gallery will extend its hours until 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24.
In addition, the gallery, 210 N. Coast Highway, will remain open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25.
As artist Dennis McNett explains, “Wolfbats can not stay stationary for too long and need to connect with a broader spectrum of souls,” and thus they are moving on.
The gallery’s subsequent show, “Tax Included : New works by Russ Pope,” presented by Vans, opens Thursday, April 5, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Gallery Hosts 25-Year Anniversary Reception
Pacific Edge Gallery will be celebrating its 25th year with a public reception for all six gallery artists, featuring food, wine, and new works and appearances by all of the artists on March 25, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event at 540 S. Coast Highway will also benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach, with a percentage of all sales going to the charity.
Art Classes at Heisler Park
Laguna Outreach for Community Arts has scheduled art class Saturday, March 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Heisler Park, 361Cliff Dr., led by September McGee to learn about the park’s landmark historical trees.

Gallery Q Hangs Senior Projects
The public is invited to view the latest exhibit at Gallery Q in the Susi Q Center, featuring work by artists who are 55 or older from Laguna Beach and surrounding communities in varied mediums.
At a reception Thursday, March 29, from 5 – 7 p.m. , Mayor Jane Egly will present awards to winners at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to vote for their favorites in several categories.
Exhibition hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, through May 11, at 380 Third St.

Arresting Images in Pen Women Exhibit
A reception for the National League of American Pen Women exhibit, which opens this week in the Community Art Project gallery, will be held Saturday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The gallery is located on the second floor of Wells Fargo Bank, 260 Ocean Ave.
