Giving a Showcase to Rulebreakers
AR4T Gallery will transform into three artistic visions for each month of summer to commemorate Laguna Beach’s most artistic rulebreakers.
In June, the gallery at 210 N. Coast Highway presents “Love Kills,” a solo exhibition by artist Robert “Sticky” Shaw. An opening reception open to the public is scheduled on Saturday, June 2, from 6-9 p.m.
In July, the gallery welcomes “Depths & Beyond,” a solo show and the return of Australian painter Karlee Mackie, with a 6-9 p.m. reception Saturday, June 30.
And in August, the gallery will exhibit a collaboration between Seattle artists Brennan Coyle, Patrick “Duffy” De Armas and Justin Kane Elder, with the opening reception Aug. 2 from 6-9 p.m.
Young Artist Earns Exhibit Space
Jade Nicoletti, artist-musician-singer/songwriter, will have two art works, “The Parrot” and
“Unicorn Fish,” which will be shown in the Festival of Arts’ youth showcase this season.
Jade, a fifth grade El Morro student, takes art lessons from Darci Raphael of the Art House in Dana Point.
Work featured at the George Gallery, 354 N. Coast Highway, in June.
