The Art-A-Fair Festival is now seeking new artists for its 44th annual season, which will run for nine weeks from June 25 to Aug. 29. And, for the first time, Art-A-Fair is offering entry online via ZAPP, in addition to the usual options of mailing in entries or bringing them in person on jury day.

ZAPP is a universal application system that enables artists to upload high-resolution images of their work for review by the same Art-A-Fair jurors that consider the dimensional entries brought in on jury day.

The deadline for receipt of mail-in submissions is Jan. 20, and jury day in Laguna Beach is Sunday, Feb. 14. To enter in person, artists should bring their artwork to the Laguna Beach Boys & Girls Club, located at 1085 Laguna Canyon Road, between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on jury day.

All mediums are available for jurying, and artists may jury with more than one. Three original works of art are required in each medium entered; two-dimensional pieces must be framed, wired, and ready to hang. Artists who hand deliver their work on jury day receive their scores and notification of acceptance or declination at pick up between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. that same day.

Art-a-Fair’s 125 participants include artists from out of the area presenting in mediums ranging from oil painting to digital art to sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, glass and wood.
