Come appreciate the latest works by Seattle’s Brennan Coyle and the Electric Coffin team at AR4T Gallery’s, 210 N. Coast Highway, exhibition, “The Garage,” from Aug. 2-25. Gallery hours are Wednesdays through Saturdays, 3-8 p.m.
Works on sale include paintings, restructured skate decks, and a mixed-media 15-foot installation. The exhibition celebrates art inspired by a “rebellious artistry” era, and the blossoming skate and surf cultures. This display is “a tribute to the cultures forged with steel and filled with gasoline,” showcasing a collection of art by “a brotherhood of creative rebels.”
From 6-9 p.m. during the next Artwalk on Aug. 2, the gallery will host a free artists reception open to the public, beverages provided. Coyle and the Electric Coffin expect to attend. The band Old Scratch will play live.
