Children Become Photographers
Boys & Girls Club members recently participated in national photo contest where the community room was transformed into a photo exhibit with over 800 works.

Ernie Jones Work Featured in April
Artist Eye Laguna Gallery will feature the original artwork of Ernie Jones during April and host an artist reception from 6–9 p.m., Saturday, April 14.
Jones, of Irvine, is a founding member of the gallery, 1294-A S. Coast Highway. His latest work features the historic Santa Fe locomotive, the oldest surviving of its type in the world.
Irises Bloom for Art Students
Laguna Outreach for Community Arts is offering a beginner-level silk painting class, available Thursday, April 19, or Saturday, April 21, from 9:30-11 a.m., at Laguna Nursery.
Horticulturalist Ruben Flores will introduce west coast native Pacific irises and artist Olivia Batchelder will direct the quick-study art class. Participants will take home a finished stretched silk, suitable for framing under glass.

Local Artists Exhibit in San Diego’s Streets
Marcus Thesing, Michael Phillips, Paul Renner and Steve Kell, four Laguna Beach artists, will take part in the San Diego’s ArtWalk, April 28 and 29.
