Artists are invited to an Art Talk critique and potluck at the Southern California Artists Assoc., at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 3251 Laguna Canyon Road, Suite F3.

Bring a piece of your artwork and hear feedback from other working artists. Enjoy a conversation about art and a potluck dinner. $5 donation requested.

Peter Blake Gallery’s current exhibit features Tony Delap and Ruth Pastine, as well as selected works by Andy Moses and Erick Johnson, through April 9.

Located at 435 Ocean Avenue, the gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.

College Exhibits Best Student Work

Laguna College of Art & Design presents their “Best of the Best” annual juried exhibition of original artwork by their undergraduate students in the college gallery, March 28 to April 28.

The public is invited to attend the opening reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2222 Laguna Canyon Road. Cash prizes will be awarded to honor the student artworks that are juried as the best in their category.

This free juried exhibition represents the best work of the students at Laguna College of Art & Design and includes a wide range of mediums, expression, and skill representing the five major fields of study at the college.

Work is juried collectively by the faculty and judges from the Pacific Art Foundation.
