Laguna Outreach for Community Arts offers a sea lion mask workshop on Saturday, Oct. 1, an activity good for individuals, families, and groups at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Canyon.
Participants will tour the Center, and observe live seals and sea lions undergoing rehabilitation.
Following the tour, artist Joan Corman, known for creating “drains to ocean” warning placards at curbs throughout town, will lead the mask-making class.
The class is beginner-level and finished art can be taken home. Cost is $20 adults / $15 ages 6-up, accompanied by an adult. Advance registration is required, email [email protected], or call (949) 363-4700. Visit www.LOCAarts.com for memberships and additional activities.
