Two celebrations are planned this weekend honoring Laguna Beach artist and teacher Ken Auster, says a Laguna Plein Air Painters Association announcement.
Friends are invited to share in a 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. celebration Saturday, April 9, at Capo Beach Church, 25975 Domingo Ave., in Dana Point.
The following day, Sunday, April 10, the Painters Association honors him with a 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. paint-out on Main Beach.
A paddle out follows at 2:30 p.m. from Picnic Beach in nearby Heisler Park.
