Gallimaufry Performing Arts will be holding singing and dancing auditions for the American premiere of “White Dalmation,” a European-rock fable, this Saturday, May 14. Performers of all ages are wanted.
Steve Josephson is the director, Amy Hitchcock is the musical director, and Kira Josephson is the choreographer for this rock musical, which is a tongue-in-cheek comic send up of a children’s fairy tale. Rehearsals will be held in Laguna Beach, June 19 to July 19, and performances will be held at the Artists Theatre July 21 to 31.
Auditions will be held on May 14 at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, 1085 Laguna Canyon Road, in the second floor community room. Dance call for ages 7 to 13 is at 9 a.m. Dance call for ages 14 and up is at 10 a.m. Singing auditions, by appointment only will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Callbacks will be scheduled immediately following. The director will run the audition.
