Mariana Acevedo, a graduating Laguna Beach High School senior, who was chosen by the Daughters of the American Revolution as their good citizen for 2012 addressed the group’s award ceremony this week.
The local chapter recognizes outstanding students of American history and good citizenship in grades five through 12 in local public and private schools. The event took place Wednesday, May 2, at the Artists’ Theatre.
