“One Foot,” a play by local Lojo Simon, will be performed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 in the studio of Sandra Jones Campbell, 2173 Laguna Canyon Road.

Featuring Ava Burton and Ben Farrow and directed by Mark Miller, “One Foot” takes place on a frozen lake and is the story of a man who wakes up one morning to find that his foot has fallen off. Miller promises a special, artistic staging for this event, which is described as a lyrical, stark, intimate and ultimately redemptive romantic two-hander.

Burton is best known by locals for her performances in the al fresco monologues with Shakespeare’s Fool.

Farrow is a veteran film, television and theater performer.

A private practice psychotherapist will lead a post-play talk about the role of story, silence and presence in relationships.

Tickets are $20-$25. RSVP on Facebook at facebook.com/events/529542077248502/ or email [email protected].
