Laguna Beach resident Susan Lacroix’s champion female bloodhound, Quiet Creek’s Kiss And Tell (co-owned with Heather Whitcomb), won best of breed, Monday, Feb. 14, at the 135th Westminister Kennel Club Dog Show, taking place at Madison Square Garden this week. If she wins best of the hound group, which includes hounds from Dachshunds to Whippets to Irish Wolfhounds, she has a shot at the best in show competition, which takes place Feb. 15.

Lacroix is no stranger to the winner’s circle at America’s premier dog show. Her champion female Quiet Creek’s Mi Amour, co-owned with Evelyn Jones, won best of breed for two years straight, in 2008 and 2009, and was recognized by Laguna Beach’s former mayor, Kelly Boyd, in 2009.
