The squad under coach Sean Quigley faced their initial matches after a 12-day lapse in play due to the ski week break. The rust showed as no player was able to shoot under 40 for nine holes as the Breakers lost to Aliso Niguel 187-219 and to Capistrano Valley 213-219 in matches played on Feb. 28 at the Aliso Viejo CC. League play begins on March 9 with Calvary Chapel at Mile Square.
