Laguna opened their league season with a pair of victories last week, defeating Saddleback 13-5 on Wednesday, March 22, at the Roadrunner courts and Godinez 15-3 on Thursday, March 23, at Laguna. Saddleback picked up two singles wins and three doubles matches for their best showing against Laguna.
Laguna dominated the Grizzlies as Ethan Gee and Mason Libby swept their singles matches and Laguna won all nine contested doubles matches.
Breakers also lost a non-league match 14-4 to Dana Hills at the Laguna courts last week. Nick Besso and Tristian Krogius teamed up to win two doubles matches over the Dolphins.
