The polo squad is in the post-season for the 25th consecutive year and are the defending D-III champions seeded 2nd for this year’s run.
Last week the Breakers split a pair of matches to conclude the regular season. On November 5 the Breakers defeated Capo valley 9-6 at the Cougars pool in what could be a preview to CIF D-3 semi’s scheduled for Wednesday, November 18 at the Woollett Center adjacent to Irvine High School. To get there, Laguna must defeat Chaparral this past Wednesday and either Royal or Yorba Linda on November 14 in the playoffs.
The regular season concluded on Friday with an 11-4 loss at Newport Harbor.
