Laguna survived their trip to Palos Verdes as the Sea Kings battled back from a 8-3 halftime deficit to send the contest into overtime Tuesday, Oct. 25. Breakers pulled away in the extra periods to win 15-12. Colton Gregory scored nine goals to lead Laguna, which will close out the regular season this week with matches Tuesday, Nov. 1, against Capistrano Valley and Friday, Nov. 4, against Newport Harbor. Breaker JV (12-2, and Frosh-Soph (8-6) will also be playing.

CIF pairings will be released at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at cifss.org. Laguna will open the playoffs on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Finals are scheduled at the Woollett Center adjacent to Irvine High School.
