Twelve different players scored as the Breakers won their 47th straight league match last week. Top goal honors went to Larson McCarroll with four. Judge Washer had four steals.

Thursday, Oct. 8 @ Dana Hills: Dolphins 13, Laguna 10

Breakers could never quite take control of the game against the #4 ranked county team in a non-league contest last week. Julian Bridy, Jeff Rubino, and Judge Washer each had two scores, Jakob Colliday four assists and two steals.

Saturday, Oct. 10 @ Laguna CP: Laguna 16, Aliso Viejo 6

Last Saturday at home, Jeff Rubino scored seven goals to lead Laguna past the neighboring Wolverines. Gordon Pikee had six steals, three assists and five blocks in the goal.

Breakers will host Los Alamitos on Saturday, Oct. 17 @ Noon at the Community Pool. Admission is free. Montebello comes to Laguna on Wednesday, Oct. 21 for a rematch of last year’s CIF finals. Play begins at 4:15. Laguna travels to Atherton in Northern California for the annual North-South Challenge for October 23 & 24. Representing Southern California with Laguna will be Agoura, Cathedral Catholic, Dana Hills, # 1 Harvard Westlake, Loyola, and Mater Dei.
