The Second Annual Harvest Festival Dinner and Concert, underwritten by Transition Laguna’s garden tour and seedling sales, is returning on Saturday, July 16, from 5-9:30 p.m. at 625 Oak Street.

This year’s event is hosted by Patrick and Joann Freeman and will feature the music of Peace, Love & BBQ, a local homegrown rock group. The BBQ will be lit up for grilling between 5:30-7:30 p.m. and food and drink will be served throughout the evening.

Music and dessert will be served from 8-9:30 p.m. Please bring a favorite condiment to share with the BBQ burgers, a main course to share, and a bottle of wine, sixpack, or your favorite drink.  Also remember to bring you own plate, utensils, glass, napkin, lawn chair, etc., so that the festival can continue to be sustainable.

Transition Laguna host “The Great Unwinding” summer party on Sunday, Aug. 13, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Treasure Island Beach Park. There will be yoga, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming and more on this afternoon of personal growth, speakers, music, food and fun. Everyone is invited to bring a talent and a dish to share. The monthly full moon drum circle, normally set at Aliso Beach, will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Bring the family, a change of clothes, and perhaps a drum for a magical celebration of health and abundance.
