Nineteen people graduated from the 21st Laguna Beach Police Department Citizen Academy last month before an audience that included family members, representatives from the department and Police Chief Laura.

Graduates now join an alumni class of 405 people, who completed a 12-week-long course that met weekly to learn what goes on inside the city’s police department. This course includes instruction in several areas, a tour of the various facilities and a chance to shoot at the police firing range.

The next Citizen Academy will begin in fall 2015. For more info: contact Ross Fallah at 949-497-0750 ext. 230 or at [email protected].
