Award for a Local Young Talent
Songwriter and performer Jade Nicoletti, 10, an El Morro Elementary student, placed second the state PTA Reflections contest at the intermediate level for her vocal-songwriting performance of her original song “My Diversity”.
Jade will become a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers this year.
‘Out On The Town’ Hits the Hotspots
Thurston Middle School’s PTA requests your presence for a night Out On The Town, Wednesday, March 21.
Dress up or dress down, but show up for hors d’ oeuvres and beverages at local eateries and foodie hotspots, an itinerant dinner fundraiser that benefits the school’s PTA.
The event between three locations begins at 6 p.m., shifts to a second location at 6:55 and make a final stop for dinner and dancing at Romeo Cucina at 7:45 p.m.
Tickets are $65 per person which includes appetizers, drink and dinner.
