Kids Planted Seeds for Mother’s Day

TOW students select seeds for embedding in mother’s day gift pots.

Approximately 200 kids made flower pots to give their moms on Mother’s Day during TOW Elementary’s Earth Day.

Once the flower pots were shaped, dirt was added, and then the kids were given their choice of flower seeds from a collection of more than a score of flower varieties.

The seeds were provided by Jodi Levine of Earthroots Field School through a donation from San Juan Capistrano’s Plant Depot.
