Get ready for a knock on the door from students of Top of the World Elementary.

The school is getting ready for its most important fundraiser of the year: the annual Jog-A-Thon. Please consider offering financial support when one of the 650 student-runners makes a plea at your door.

Students are expected to raise over half of the $55,000 goal, said Mele Brobeck, a parent and organizer. All money raised for the March 21 event, where students race to complete laps of the school field, goes to the Top of the World PTA. The money raised is pivotal in supporting extra, enriching programs such as Art Masters, after school classes, field trips, assemblies, and many others, Brobeck said.
