Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day With Brits

What’s better than a bit of British humor and slapstick revenge set in working class Manchester? If this is your cup of tea, join Laguna Beach Film Society members for the 2009 British Indy Award winner, “Looking for Eric,” presented at the South Coast Cinema at 7 p.m., March 17.

The once dashing dancer, now an anxious, middle-aged British postman, is visited by a phantom friend whose off-beat advice launches Eric in a new direction.  Tickets are $15 at the door, $10 for students with IDs, and $20 for hors d’oeuvres and wine reception at 6 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Community Room.

Film Society members get this all free. Call Joanne Story at 949-494-9871 ext 201 to become a member now.
