Adopting a Family For the Season

Laguna Resource Center is seeking residents, churches, and businesses to adopt local low-income families for the holiday season. Laguna Resource Center currently has far more families requesting help than donors.

Families who may be adopted are selected from Laguna Food Pantry patrons or recommended by long-term community volunteers. Most of the families selected work in the Laguna Beach hospitality industry for minimum wage and their children attend local schools. Each family fills out a modest wish list.

To sign up or request more information, please contact Shannon Ashworth at [email protected] or 714-928-9626 before Friday, Nov. 30. For more info: lagunaresourcecenter.org.
