Stand Up to Cancer has created an online donations page on his behalf where hundreds of donations have been made, according to his business partner, Steve Sawitz.

Home Tour Showcases Affordable Homes

Wells Fargo’s second Affordable Home Tour on July 16 and 17 pairs local real estate agents with home mortgage consultants while visiting homes, including some in foreclosure, priced at or below $450,000 in the south county market.

“Obviously, we want to show prospective buyers, especially renters, that there are homes on the market priced within their reach,” said Mitch Redden, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage regional sales manager. “Beyond that, it’s designed to highlight the numerous mortgage options that remain available for first-time homebuyers. Financing options with low down payment requirements that also have the stability of fixed payments for 15 to 30 years are still very much available,” he said.

Prior to the tour event, prospective buyers have been invited to attend homebuyer workshops to learn more about the home-buying and mortgage approval processes. Those wishing to register should go to wellsfargo.com/affordablehometour.
