Clarification: In “Lifeguards Honor Their Own” in the July 22 edition about a reunion, identified several former guards who had died in recent years were listed, including Norm Anderson. Paul Norm Anderson, 84, a Laguna lifeguard from 1948-1950, remains alive and kicking.
Correction: In the July 22 article “ ‘Quiet Zone’ Turns Into a Ticket Trap,” the name of the owner of Mozambique restaurant was misspelled. He is Ivan Spiers.
