In a region already filled with spectacular houses, the newly built North Laguna Beach pièd a terre of Las Vegas-based Blake and Delise Sartini has been deemed outstanding enough to be selected as an Architectural Digest feature in the June issue.

Titled “Coastal Commission” the article describes the house, designed as a family get-away situated on a terraced property at the edge of the ocean, featuring flowing water and an infinity pool on a lot ringed by Monterrey cypress.

Blake Sartini hired Grant Camden Kirkpatrick of Los Angeles’ KAA Design to design the 14,000 square feet, five-level structure, distinguished by rough stone walls. The husband and wife team of Alexandra and Michael Misczynski of the Los Angeles-based Atelier AM designed the earth-toned interior palette. Neither the architect or designer returned phone calls and the magazine declined to provide contact information for the owners.
