At the recommendation of donor Donnie Crevier, the Laguna Beach Community Foundation made a $10,000 gift to the Mission Hospital Foundation in honor of Lyn Carlyle, a local resident who recovered from a stroke thanks to the hospital’s help.
Within the community foundation, Crevier recently established a donor advised fund, where donors fully control how proceeds are distributed but cede administrative tasks to foundation staff.
