Breakers traveled to Hawaii to compete in the Iolani Invite last week. The girls were third in the three-mile varsity run behind Tesoro and Punahou. Evie Cant was the race champion with a 17:37.18 time and also scoring for Laguna were Sidney Schaefgen, Jessie Rose, Kaitlin Ryan, and Emily Engel.
On the boys side, the Breakers finished fourth in the three-mile varsity division behind Iolani, Clovis West, and Tesoro. Leading the Breakers were Ryan Smithers at 16:07.24 followed by Cal Neilson, Zachary Falkowski, Mateo Bianchi, and Jaden Orr.
