Community Services Programs announced the addition of Laguna local Roger Stewart as advisory board chair for the Laguna Beach Youth Shelter.
CSP oversees a short-term shelter system for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth in Orange County.
Stewart, who moved to Laguna Beach in 1991 and started his own civil law practice, has since retiring in 2004 been active on CSP Laguna Shelter board.
Local Business Woman Wins Second Honor in Two Years
Laguna local Loreen Gilbert is to be presented the business advocate of the year award by the National Association of Women Business Owners on Thursday, May 11, at their gala in Anaheim.
Gilbert received the business owner of the year award last year.
Gilbert opened Irvine-based WealthWise Financial, which helps women business owners achieve financial security. She was appointed to the Trump Pence Small Business Advisory Council and is a member of the NAWBO board.
