“Stage Door” features young women who come to New York City to pursue stage careers during the 1930s. Inspired by tales from a reallife boarding house, the hopes and ambitions of the women are welltold. Played by Ellie Glade, heroine Terry Randall is a witty young actress who is pursued by two completely different men a Hollywood producer and a Broadway playwright. Both hilarity and drama ensue as Terry and the other women at

the Footlights Club pursue their dreams of success on the stage and screen.
