Democracy’s Most Valuable Real Estate: the Voting Booth

As election day nears, I am pinching myself yet again.  While our process of electing leaders is far from perfect, it is way ahead of what’s in second place. Voting is, at its core, the acting out of one of America’s deepest ideals. No one said it better than Harry Truman, “The most valuable real estate is the voting booth.”

Voters may not back a winner in every race, but their participation in the process is a winning investment.  Regardless of one’s political leanings, I hope people turn out in droves this November.
