Parents are invited to a workshop Tuesday, March 18, on the state’s Common Core, which will be held at the high school’s library from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
This spring, public school students are participating in a field test of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), which replaces the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program.
Local students in grades 3-8 and grade 11 will be participating between March and June.
During parent education night, parents will learn more about the tests and how to prepare their children.
