Rescue Center Sets High Goal

The Pet Rescue Center, which provides temporary sanctuary for homeless pets, hosts its third annual benefit Friday, Oct. 7, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Seven Degrees.

The evening will include inspiring rescue stories, a call to action, live music by Boogaloo Assassins, a caricaturist, a photo booth, a live and a silent auction. The center’s $200,000 goal will help the center achieve their mission of providing temporary sanctuary to rescued pets and finding them homes. All of the ticket sales and proceeds from the event go to support The PRC’s progams.

“Please come celebrate with us. We can make a difference by working together to better the lives of at risk and homeless dogs and cats in California,” said Blythe Wheaton, the center’s director.

Tickets are $100 and are on sale online, www.providingshelter.org.
