The upcoming Fête de la Musique, where musicians perform al fresco downtown, seeks high school volunteers to help support the children’s parade, taking place on the Main Beach Cobblestones, Saturday, June 18, at 12 p.m.

Students will earn community service hours for face painting, photography and video production. To volunteer contact parade director Robert Gluckson at either (949) 295-2045 or [email protected].

Volunteers will also produce a video of student performances taking place at the Presbyterian Church rose garden. Those interested in doing photography or video at this location should contact Ken Aubuchon at either [email protected] or (949) 497-3748.

The Fête de la Musique kicks off at 12:30 p.m. with the children’s parade followed by musical performances at 35 locations throughout downtown until the 4 p.m. conclusion, a ceremony on the Main Beach cobblestones.
