For those captivated by Disney Hall’s stunning design, Laguna Beach Film Society screens Sidney Pollack’s documentary, “Sketches of Frank Gehry,” screening Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at the South Coast Cinema.

Gehry, the notoriously shy architect, is engagingly drawn out by Pollack to trace the creative process in architecture.

Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 for students and $8 presale at www.LagunaArtMuseum.org/LBFS. $20 includes the price of film tickets and a 6 p.m. wine and appetizers reception at Laguna Art Museum and a chance to meet the producer, Ultan Guilfoyle who will be available after the film for questions.

Join the Film Society for $125 annually for 12 monthly screenings and preshow wine and hors d’oeuvres receptions by contacting Valerie Tate at 949-494-8971 x203 or [email protected].
