Kevin Spacey Is Jack Abramoff in ‘Casino Jack’
The Laguna Beach Film Society will debut “Casino Jack” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, at South Coast Cinemas. This film stars Kevin Spacey in a must-see performance as Jack Abramoff, the notorious lobbyist and embezzler. Inspired by true events, it reveals the scandalous scam perpetrated by Abramoff and his business partner, Michael Scanlon (played by Barry Pepper).
Tickets for the film only are $15 at the door. For an additional $5, moviegoers can join the LBFS members before the film at 6 p.m. for the society’s holiday potluck at the Wells Fargo Bank Community Room, 260 Ocean Avenue. The event is free to members.
