Laguna’s final Orange Coast League campaign opens this Friday, Oct. 6, when the Breakers and Godinez (2-3) face off for what should determine the league champion and the only post-season entry for the conference. The contest will kick off at 7 p.m. at the Valley High School stadium located off Glenwood Place in Santa Ana just south of Edinger at Fairview. Breakers hold a 5-4 series edge.
