The annual Gate and Garden tour presented by the Laguna Beach Garden Club takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 1. The self-guided walking tour of eight gardens includes an undersea succulent garden, a proper English garden, orderly vegetable gardens and gently controlled wild spaces in the historic Woods Cove neighborhood.
There will be an exotic plant sale at the end of the tour and garden club volunteers will be available to answer questions.
The $45 ticket includes admittance to the gardens, tour brochure with map and round trip shuttle bus transportation. Registration will be at historic Arabella Laguna, 506 N. Coast Highway, where there will also be refreshments and a raffle to win a prize provided by Dana Point Nursery.
