Sunday’s Gospel Show Nearly Sold Out  

A few tickets are still available to Yve Evans & Co. ‘s gospel show on Sunday, March 11, brunch and champagne tasting beginning at 11 am at Tivoli II.

A La Carte Event on the Sand

Pacific Edge Hotel hosts a friendly cocktail competition and a chef challenge on Sunday, March 11, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Wine Festival Pours Out at Rock’N Fish

More than 20 California winemakers will join together for the first annual Ultimate Wine Festival at Rock’N Fish Laguna Beach on Saturday, March 10, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.,

Tickets are $100 per person and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach.

Brazilian Action Film Screens

A tough, Brazilian cop, Nascimiento, whose brutal tactics have dampened the influence of drug dealers, has unwittingly provided an opportunity for profiteering cops and politicians to take their place in the Laguna Beach Film Society’s screening Thursday, March 15, at 7 p.m.

Brazil’s Oscar entry, “Elite Squad: The Enemy Within,” screens at South Coast Cinema.  Tickets are $15 at the door  ($10 for students with IDs), and $20 for a food fest with wine at 6 p.m. at the Laguna Art Museum.

Wednseday Jazz Night with Graham Dechter

Guitarist and Los Angeles native Graham Dechter performs on Wednesday, March 14, at 6 p.m. in the Laguna Room of Hotel Laguna for the Laguna Beach Live! Jazz Wednesdays Winter Series.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for sunset viewing. Drinks and food are available for purchase.

Cover charge is $12 online and $15 at the door.  Reservations can be made at www.lagunabeachlive.org up until noon on the day of the concert for one or more.

 

 

Playhouse Presents Easter Catechism Show

“Late Night Catechism” creator Maripat Donovan and company return to The Laguna Playhouse from March 13 through April 8 to perform their most recent comic installment, “Sister’s Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny go to Heaven?”
