A free event open to the public, the 10th annual Alternative International Holiday Gift Fair hosted by Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Dr., will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 and from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7.

            Shoppers can purchase gifts from around the world that provide support and sustenance for people in need  with all receipts going directly to organizations such as Concern America, Bread for Life and more.

Offerings include shea butter skin care products and jewelry made from rolled paper, fair trade coffees, teas, chocolates and olive oil, crocheted purses made from plastic bags, funky crocheted hats and the NCC Kid’s famous reindeer and snowman poop, which supports the church’s mission efforts in Laguna Beach. Delicious homemade treats will also be served.

Assistance League’s Christmas Boutique Lights Up!

The Assistance League’s 12th Annual Christmas Boutique takes place Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday’s sale takes place in the Chapter House garage, directly behind the Thrift Shop, 547 Catalina St.

Shoppers will find holiday decorations, children’s toys, cards, and paper goods.  Enjoy great holiday bargains while supporting philanthropic programs.

The Laguna Beach High School PTA introduces Winterfest, formerly known as the Holiday Boutique, a fundraiser taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 in the Dugger Gym, 625 Park Ave.

This year’s event promises to be better than ever with 75 specialty vendors, a variety of live musical performances, delicious food at the cafe and a silent auction supported by the business community.

Santa will be there to greet children, and the Kid’s Corner entertains while parents shop. Admission is free.  For more information contact: [email protected].
